If you are an undergraduate at Cal Lutheran and you are considering a master鈥檚 degree in business administration, public policy and public administration, sport management or information technology, the 4+1 Option might be a good fit for you.

How do I take courses as an undergrad?
- Meet with an advisor to make your course selections.
- Start taking relevant courses during the fall or spring semesters of your senior year 鈥 you can take up to three graduate-level courses as a senior.
- If you continue attending the MBA, MPPA, MSSM or MSIT program as a full-time student after completing your undergraduate degree, you can earn your master鈥檚 degree in just one year. That鈥檚 where the 鈥4+1鈥 comes in: four years for an undergraduate degree and one more for your master鈥檚 degree.
What are the costs?
During your senior year, the master鈥檚 courses will be included in your normal tuition as long as you take 12 undergraduate credits and do not exceed 18 total credits per semester. Once fully admitted to the MBA, MPPA, MSSM or MSIT program, the regular tuition per credit goes into effect.
